Privacy,
cooling and security were of the utmost importancewith these features
controlling the layout of the houses. Architectural designs of columns,
doors, windows and window towers followed the Islamic theme of geometric
and floral patterns. Whilst the Al Naboodah house has no
windtower, other cooling characteristics are clearly demonstrated. |
